Job DescriptionJob Description

Copper River Shared Services is seeking a Contract Administrator to manage the day-to-day administration of government and commercial contracts and subcontracts for the assigned Operating Company.

This position will work a hybrid schedule in our Chantilly, VA office and report to the Director of Contracts.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for administration of government and commercial contracts and subcontracts, including construction contracts.
  • Coordinate with accounting, sales and program management on contractual matters.
  • Assist with monitoring contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and to determine need for changes.
  • Provide advice and interpretation of contract requirements.
  • Review solicitation requirements to ensure proposals, RFPs, data calls are compliant with terms and conditions.
  • Assist the Proposal Team with proposal support efforts, review performance requirements, ensure contracts are in accordance with legal requirements, customer specifications, and structure contractual terms.
  • Prepare Non-Disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Reseller Agreements, and Subcontracts.
  • Understand and implement contract department policies and processes to ensure achievement of corporate expectations.
  • Assist with maintaining Contracts SharePoint database and Deltek/Cost Point database.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Required knowledge/Experience:
    • Must have minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts administration
    • Knowledge of government contracts and construction contracts, familiarity with FARS, DFARS, Service Contract Act and Davis Bacon
    • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Excellent comprehension and communication skills, written and verbal
    • Be able to work without constant supervision, make decisions, and have judgment
    • Able to handle multiple tasks and projects and prioritize based on departmental functionality
    • Detailed oriented with the ability to organize
    • Able to work in a heavy volume and high-pressure environment
    • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
    • High level of professional appearance and demeanor
  • Preferred Knowledge/Experience:
    • Contract compliance and analysis experience highly desired
    • Experience with Deltek/Cost Point highly desired
