ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Candidate must be willing to travel to Northeast, OH for training. Minimum of 1 week.
  • Create and expedite purchase orders to acquire materials related to Production Ticket.
  • Update ERP Label Traxx system for production tickets with stock, ink, and tooling delivery dates.
  • Review order confirmations for accuracy and update purchase orders, as well as Label Traxx Tickets.
  • Track and communicate purchase order delays to scheduling and customer service.
  • Create purchase orders for outsourcing orders and track and update tickets with delivery dates.
  • Review the schedule daily to ensure tooling, inks, and stock arrive on time, and email scheduling and customer service with stock delay issues.
  • Maintain daily and monthly open purchase order reports.
  • Reduce roll stock inventory.
  • Collaborate with the production team to run tickets more efficiently.
  • Run requirement reports; analyze history to determine ordering requirements.
  • Assist with setting up new part numbers and suppliers and maintaining the purchasing database for accuracy, including price and part number changes and changes in vendor/supplier information.
  • Work with vendors to purchase repair or replacement parts.
  • Work with the warehouse staff to ensure transfers are coordinated and shipped out promptly to meet branch requirements.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Bachelor's degree or experience in supply chain management (preferred)
  • Computer proficiency, particularly with spreadsheet programs
  • Organizational skills
  • Time management skills
