Hospital Recovery Coach

This is full-time 36 hours/week position with some nights required. Everett/Cambridge area.
What you’ll do:
- Supervise and/or coach recoverees, based on their needs in recovery-oriented skills, activities of daily living, socialization, and community integration.
- Assist the Emergency Department, Med Surge and Inpatient teams with brief interventions to engage individuals presenting for treatment.
- Communicate and assist the hospital team to develop a recommendation for appropriate level of care. Advocate for patient and facilitate referral when possible
- Implement, teach, assist and/ or coach persons served with their individual action plan or recoverees who have developed their own wellness plan to review their goals and objectives
- Facilitate and support access to treatment and/or recovery oriented systems of care and provide linkages to community recoveree is returning to
- Participate in upkeep and maintenance of program including completing all documentation in a timely manner
What you’ll need:
- Education: May have a bachelor's degree in a field other than behavioral sciences or have a high school degree or GED.
- Experience: Must have work experience with adults diagnosed with substance use and or dependency. This individual should also have lived experience and knowledge regarding the addiction treatment service system, recovery coaching and other related human services.
- Knowledge: Must have two years acknowledged continuous sobriety and CARC.
