The Juicing Department Manager oversees all operations of the Juicing Department within Rainbow Blossom. The Juicing Department Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the department, including processing customer orders, training, supply ordering, scheduling, open communication with the management within the store and excellent customer service. The Juicing Department Manager will be responsible for employee management within the department, including interviewing, hiring, and terminating Team Members, as well as holding Team Member accountable to expectations.


This position reports directly to the Food Service Manager. This is a full-time position, not to exceed 40 hours each week.


Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • 1+ years' experience in food handling
  • 1+ years' experience in customer service
  • Must have a Food Service Manager Certification completed within 90 days of hire
  • Lift up to 20 pounds often and 50 pounds rarely
  • Be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time, to sit and squat or kneel occasionally, and to climb rarely
  • Be able to work indoors in a climate-controlled environment, i.e., walk-in cooler, and/or freezer.

Must be able to put together a plan and follow through consistently on commitments.

Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Must feel comfortable describing juicing items to customers and assisting customers by making recommendations.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, utilizing a "clean as you go" attitude.


Responsibilities


Maintain retail inventory levels for all juice products.

Order supplies and maintain inventory while projecting future needs for the department.

Ensure the success of the department by meeting and/or exceeding financial goals set up for the department within a given period.

Complete regular cleaning and maintenance of juicing machinery & Prep Room Area.

Must ensure the Juicing Team follows all established policies and procedures for food prep, quality control, portion control, and safety.

Must have a solid understanding of food safety knowledge with the ability to teach and hold Team Members accountable if issues arise.

Oversee side work and ensure that Team Members are meeting expectations.

Create and maintain weekly schedules to ensure proper coverage every day throughout the week while adhering to break policies and staying within established labor budgets.

Ensure projects are completed properly and on time, as needed for the department.

Ensure Team Members are always working safely and productively.

Serve as the dedicated point of contact for on-call responsibilities, ensuring seamless coverage and timely response to callouts.

Conduct bi-weekly payroll processes to guarantee accurate and timely compensation of staff members.

Conduct comprehensive training sessions for Juicing Department employees, ensuring proficiency in product knowledge, customer service protocols, and operational procedures.

Conduct thorough 30, 60, and 90-day reviews for employees, offering valuable insights to support employee development.

Resolve customer and staff questions, complaints, or concerns in a manner that ensures satisfaction and resolution.

Handle employee hiring and termination processes as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
