What You’ll Do
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. The SDR will play a critical role in expanding our customer base by generating leads and setting up meetings for the sales team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for sales and technology.
- Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
- Qualification: Qualify inbound leads to determine their potential as sales opportunities.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and manage a robust pipeline of prospects and leads.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified prospects.
- CRM Management: Accurately enter and maintain detailed records of prospect interactions and updates in the CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and conversion.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to effectively position Splitit's offerings.
- Follow-up: Conduct timely follow-ups with prospects to move them through the sales funnel.
Who You Are
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in the fintech or SaaS industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft) is a plus.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
