MCHC Health Centers is excited to find a dedicated and adaptable Inventory Coordinator to join our team In this role, you'll be the go-to person for managing all of our inventory needs, from office supplies to program materials. You’ll ensure we get the best prices through group purchasing contracts, prime vendor programs, and smart negotiations. Additionally, you’ll provide valuable accounting support within our Finance Department. Duties Include:

  • Orders medications, vaccines and contraceptives to be used in office visit for all sites.
  • Scans and maintains backup document folders for all site orders. This includes program and office supply orders.
  • Tracks non 340B drugs in Microix. This includes purchases and transfers to departments for use. Implements tracking the drugs in system from provider to patient.
  • Creates purchase orders for supplies and equipment for departments and follows up on back orders.
  • Submits any supply order changes to Forms Committee.
  • Periodically checks competitor prices for best pricing and makes appropriate changes.
  • Creates stock numbers for new supplies when applicable.
  • Generates purchase orders as needed in applicable systems.
  • Works with staff placing orders to train when necessary.
  • Ensures that purchase order policies are followed, especially pertaining to fixed assets and medical equipment.
  • Acts as back up for Distribution Clerk when necessary.
  • Processes escheatment checks. Includes updating addresses updating reports.
  • Prepares bank reconciliations for multiple companies.
  • Goes to local banks daily to deposit cash receipts.
  • Records non patient AR transactions in system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Benefits:

Starting salary range is from $21.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, 401k Match up to 4%, Flexible Spending Account, and more


Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree
  • Computer/PC literate: Excel, Windows, MS Office Environment

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College, 2-year degree, with coursework in business
  • One or more years’ experience in inventory control
  • Experience working in healthcare, preferably within a Federally Qualified Health Clinic
