Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is seeking a Product Program Coordinator to join our team The Coordinator is responsible for managing all components of our annual Girl Scout Cookie and the Fall Product Programs. This role is responsible for managing the logistics, community relationships and volunteer support for troop engagement throughout the greater Dayton area to achieve participation and revenue targets within the region. Supporting our signature product programs - the annual Girl Scout Cookie program and the seasonal Fall Product program, the Specialist recruits and provides daily coordination and support for community and troop volunteers and community partners and manages cookie distribution and regional data to monitor and improve results. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service orientation, project management, volunteer coordination and comfortable with data tracking and reporting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Implementing the Fall Product and Girl Scout Cookie Programs in assigned region to achieve council program and revenue goals.
  • Managing the Fall Product Program and Girl Scout Cookie Program strategies in assigned region to increase girl engagement and participation, achieve the revenue goal and provide a quality Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
  • Managing service unit and cupboard support for troops, including recruiting and managing volunteers that enable the Fall Product and Girl Scout Cookie Program in the region.
  • Cultivating key community contacts to secure cookie booths and achieve program and financial goals within the assigned region.
  • Provide input to the development of council product program assessment and planning.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. The days of work are primarily Monday through Friday. Work schedules are flexible, and hours of work will vary, depending on support required by service units and time of year. Position requires regular evening and occasional weekend work.

TRAVEL
This is an “in the field” position requiring regular travel to assigned geographic areas of the council.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  1. Minimum of one year experience customer-focused project management and/or experience in marketing, sales and event planning, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  2. Ability to work evening hours and weekends when necessary.
  3. Ability to work in a team environment with commitment to contributing to the organizational goals.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
