About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Sales Engineer to drive growth by forging strong relationships with both OEM and EMS customers in a designated region, ensuring exceptional service and maximizing franchise business opportunities. The Sales Engineer will will be responsible for creating new customers and expanding existing relationships to both OEM and EMS customers and will serve as the primary point of contact for customer's franchise purchases.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leverage Sourceability's resources to provide exceptional customer satisfaction and grow our franchise business.
- Strategically open and manage key accounts as defined by management.
- Conducting market research and identifying potential customers and their needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, including engineering, procurement, and management staff ensuring an understanding of their challenges and requirements.
- Present and effectively communicate the value of our products to our clients.
- Work closely with an inside sales team to ensure customer satisfaction, OTD objectives, and sales growth objectives.
- Responsible for representing, instilling, and perpetuating the Company's corporate culture and code of business ethics, and facilitating the execution of the Company's signature service guarantees. These include, but are not limited to, promoting exceptional customer service, unmatched professionalism and ensuring/overseeing aggressive, but non-burdensome, relationship development efforts throughout the organization.
- Work in conjunction with other sales functions assigned to the customer.
- Provide quarterly reports to management as needed.
- Obtain Bills of Materials (BOM) from customers.
- Maintain and monitor pipeline and metrics for assigned customers, perform analysis, and identifies improvement opportunities.
- Work independently to identify, pursue or manage accounts/opportunities Autonomy to set and negotiate product/service terms; plans own territory or account approach.
- Direct contact with clients and decision makers; participates in team sales for major accounts.
- Lead the negotiations on complex accounts. Work within broad guidelines and policies to develop business with new and existing customers.
- Responsible for strictly adhering to quarterly travel budgets and goals relating to strategic customer account visits.
- Responsible for other duties and obligations that may arise from time to time and as requested from the company's senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a sales engineer serving markets with OEMs and EMS.
- Knowledge of basic business software applications and CRM systems
- Ability to multi-task, strong time, and project management skill
