Role: Account Manager

Location: Wilmington, DE (preferred) or Southeastern US (Remote)

Role:

Job Summary:

  • Actively seek new and profitable opportunities in collaboration with our commercial organization (Marketing, Technical Service, Supply Chain, Finance)
  • Manage forecast and allocation processes with commercial outlook together supply chain team
  • Responsible for promoting and selling The Lycra Company product line and positioning our company as a leader in innovative textile solutions with leading clients in the Americas.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels of the organizations including top management or decision makers.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Practice commercial and marketing excellence, capture value at multiple points of the value chain via clear articulation of value proposition, strategic pricing, branding, and premium service.
  • Continuously stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
  • Promote new technologies and follow all the process until commercialization.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Strong project management abilities
  • Computer skills that include basic data entry and competency with MS Office
  • A B.S. degree is preferred. Individuals with a 2-year associate degree, or trade school diploma will be considered.
  • Business travel up to 50% will be required.
