Rechtien International Trucks is seeking experienced and dependable Service Advisor to join our team at our Miami location.

Position Summary:

  • Can ascertain truck problems and services required as per customer's description of issue; able to conduct inspection.
  • Confers with customers about inspection results, recommend corrective procedures and prepare work order for needed repairs.
  • Handles customer complaints.
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
  • Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
  • Develops estimates; prepares repair orders (RO).
  • Maintains customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of truck; obtaining customer's approval of estimates; obtaining and providing contact telephone numbers; answering questions and concerns.
  • Semi-monthly Salary paid with monthly bonus.
  • Experienced with the Excede/Proceed Dealer System is a Plus, but we will train.
  • Highly motivated with a “can do” attitude.;

Qualifications:

  • Automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance skills
  • Service technician experience and customer service expertise
  • Proficiency in auto estimating, sales, and service writing
  • Strong background in automotive repair and service
  • Dealership experience and auto service management skills
  • Ability to upsell and experience in mechanic tasks
  • Knowledge in transmissions, oil changes, and brake repairs
  • Familiarity with air brake, alignment, suspension, and tire services
  • Expertise in diesel engine repair, shocks & struts maintenance
