Job Summary

The Eye Care Advisor role at EssilorLuxottica Group is a dynamic position that requires a strong customer service focus and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As an Eye Care Advisor, you will be responsible for creating a positive and welcoming experience for our customers, ensuring that they receive the highest quality optometric care and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that all patients receive a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Provide accurate and thorough information to patients regarding their eye care needs, including explanations of tests, products, and services.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that meet their vision, lifestyle, and budgetary needs.
  • Perform pre-examination testing with accuracy and attention to detail, explaining all measurements and answering patient questions.
  • Utilize clinical and product knowledge to provide coaching and guidance to patients on the care and handling of contact lenses.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to company standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the optometrist and retail team to ensure seamless execution of patient care and sales processes.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends and ability to communicate effectively with patients.
  • Basic math skills and ability to operate a cash register and computer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or optical.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
