• Primarily responsible for reviewing field collected roadway characteristics data for HPMS and MIRE Data Collection project.• Analyze, edit and update collected data.• Conduct quality control checks to ensure data accuracy• Analyzing data for trends that may affect data quality• Utilize source data such as aerial imagery, PathWeb, and street view• Adhere to agency data standards• Coordinate with vendor to identify and correct data discrepancies
Required Knowledge, Skills, Competencies:& & ·& & & & & & & & Must be knowledgeable in the English language and be able to speak clearly and understandably·& & & & & & & & 4-year& college& degree& or& equivalent& technical& study·& & & & & & & & Perform accurate data production, including reviewing data for completeness and accuracy, identifying and correcting errors or omissions in the data·& & & & & & & & Strong grasp of the fundamental principles, methods, and procedures used in data acquisition, management, analysis, and visualization in a GIS environment·& & & & & & & & Able to utilize appropriate software tools and procedures to process and analyze data·& & & & & & & & Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)·& & & & & & & & Strong communication and oral and written skills.
