Job DescriptionJob Description

The Banyan Microsoft 365 Azure Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining our MS 365 cloud-based productivity and collaboration platform. This includes email, calendar, file storage, instant messaging, video conferencing, and all other MS 365 Applications. Duties may include adding/archiving users, creating groups, setting permissions, and troubleshooting issues.

Additionally, the role involves administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting the Banyan MS 365 Intune – Autopilot – Endpoint Management system. This requires close collaboration with the Banyan Azure Administrator and Banyan Desktop teams for testing, implementation, and security management. The role also includes creating and maintaining Intune autopilot provisioning packages for client access and B2B Networks, and coordinating with third-party and client IT departments to ensure functionality.

During downtime, the Banyan Microsoft 365 Azure Administrator will refine MOPs and policies related to the position, test, maintain, and harden the Intune/Autopilot process, and work with the Banyan Systems, Azure, and SharePoint Administrator/Development Teams, and Desktop Support on task completions as needed.

Responsibilities and Skills

  • Managing and deploying MS 365 solutions
  • Troubleshooting and resolving MS 365 services and application-related issues
  • Configuring MS 365 services and security to meet organizational needs
  • Use/assignment of Azure AD Groups for security access management
  • Maintaining MS 365 profiles and subscriptions
  • Creating and maintaining platform Compliance Policies (Intune)
  • Creating and maintaining Mobile Application Management (MAM)
  • Creating, configuring, and maintaining conditional access policies
  • Creating, maintaining, and deploying applications via Autopilot, Intune, and Company Portal
  • Maintaining and monitoring Microsoft Defender ATP
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of cloud computing services, including networking, servers, databases, and software in a Microsoft cloud environment
  • Thorough knowledge of all end-user and administrative Microsoft Products
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell interfacing to MS 365, MS EOL, MS SPO
  • Knowledgeable programming languages used in Azure, including JavaScript, HTML5, and SQL server
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 40-65 lbs
  • Able to lift items while on a ladder and be on a ladder for extended periods
  • Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related computer science field or equivalent experience and certifications
  • 2-4 years of experience working with MS Autopilot, Intune, Endpoint Manager, and MS 365
  • Industry Certifications preferred: MD-100, MD-101 (or new MD-102), AZ-140, SC-190
