Job Title: Corporate HR Manager

Location: Valencia, PA

Salary: $65,000 per year

Reports To: Director of Human Resources (based in Wisconsin)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, with the flexibility to come in 1-2 days a week early (6:00AM) to cover/interact with 3rd shift employees.

Position Overview:

The Corporate HR Manager will play a critical role in supporting our Valencia, PA plant by overseeing a range of HR functions, including disciplinary processes and eventually, safety initiatives. This is a full time, onsite position requiring a hands-on, proactive approach to HR management and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment. This position requires a person with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple ongoing tasks and initiatives. The ability to prioritize is also key.

Key Responsibilities:

Discipline Processes

  • Manage and lead disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Work closely with supervisors and manager to ensure consistent and fair application of disciplinary measures.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on conflict resolution, performance issues, and corrective actions.

Safety (Future involvement)

  • Collaborate with the safety team to support safety initiatives at the Velencia plant.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate in safety audits, investigations, and training sessions as needed.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees at the Valencia plant.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and confidential manner.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Training & Development:

  • Improve and implement training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of current staff and new employees.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs and deliver effective training solutions.
  • Support continuous development and upskilling of the workforce to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources role, with a focus on employee relations and/or safety.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work early morning hours (6:00 AM) as required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
