Position Info:

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct, direct, and check the work of other project technical staff
  • Ensure completion of assigned technical projects within budget and schedule
  • Lead technical staff for the duration of a project or ongoing technical areas
  • Provide input for team member performance appraisals
  • Perform all functional duties independently

Skills/Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in business analysis, software development, and/or related fields
  • Strong working knowledge of UNIX/Linux, Web Services/API's, Oracle or equivalent relational databases, SQL, Data analysis, Agile/VersionOne, and ALM Test Suite or similar tools
  • Familiarity with Tomcat, Java, Kafka, and AFT
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Experience managing projects from inception to production deployment
  • Experience performing SIT/CAT testing
  • Ability to coordinate with external teams
  • Degree from an accredited College/University in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline (preferred)
  • Extensive experience in software development, testing, and project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile)
  • Experience leading small teams and technical projects
  • Experience writing and reviewing technical documentation
  • Able to obtain Postal clearance
