Use your surgery skills to the MAX

Fairfax Animal Hospital is looking for another talented Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team. We have recently added a highly skilled veterinarian who thrives in surgery. Our new LVT would assist this surgeon in basic and complex surgeries, as well as help with appointments.

Requirements:
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician, licensed in Virginia
  • A Student currently enrolled in the final semester of a veterinary technology program would be considered
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a small animal veterinary practice
  • Organized, Strong attention to detail, Critical thinker
  • Passion for team building and empowerment enjoys training others
  • Willingness to work alternating Saturdays as well as some evenings (we close at 6 pm)
  • Proficient in medical math, venipuncture, and anesthetic monitoring
  • Able to lift 35+ pounds alone, 50+ pounds with assistance
