POSITION OVERVIEW:

Assists Vision Center doctors and other technical support personnel to perform diagnostic tests necessary for evaluation of patient eye problems. Collaborates with the Clinic Office Nurse and/or Provider in providing basic nursing care for clinic patients. Receives direction from: Providers, Coordinators and Clinical Managers/Supervisors. Gives direction to: Schedulers.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or equivalent

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

MT CNA Certification Follows most current standards for continuing education requirements dictated by State/Federal Licensure regulations Certified Vision Tech, preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Medical Terminology Keyboarding skills Basic office skills Some travel may be required (1-2 times a month)
