Job DescriptionJob DescriptionBankruptcy Clerk Pay Rate: $40,000 Annually/$19.23 an HourLocation: Houston, TX 77081Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm A national law firm specializing in government debt collection is seeking a Bankruptcy Clerk to join their team Responsibilities:
  • Research new bankruptcy business case filings.
  • Review several docket reports and verify if any businesses have accounts within the clients that the firm collects for.
  • Build bankruptcy cases and produce documents needed to be filed within that case.
  • Prepare Claims and notices of appearance.
List Qualification or Requirements:
  • Excellent organization and research skills.
  • Computer efficient with proficient typing and quick key skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Bankruptcy knowledge.
