Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer support by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and addressing customer inquiries
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Assist with proofreading and editing documents for accuracy and clarity
- Serve as a medical receptionist by scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and maintaining patient records
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including booking venues, arranging catering, and managing RSVPs
- Support office operations by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements
- Perform order entry tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficient in using Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other office software
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and proofreading
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities

  • Monitor payments from Chapter 11 Bankruptcy cases.
  • Monitor Chapter 11 Post-Confirmation cases for plan defaults. Coordinate and confirm defaults with the Chapter 11 Paralegal.
  • Research payment application and record payments on an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Prepare memo of instructions for client on how to post funds. Coordinate with Chapter 11 Paralegal on business cases for instructions on how to post funds.
  • Issue default letters to debtors that have failed to promptly make payments as per the amortization schedules. Coordinate with Chapter 11 paralegal(s) on business cases that are in default. Set calendar ticklers to follow up on cure deadlines for defaults.
  • File with the courts a 'Notice of Plan Default'. This is on bankruptcy cases that failed to cure the letter of default.
  • Communicate with researchers to prepare Notices of Appearances and Proof of Claims on cases researched in the Eastern District of Texas.
  • Any other duties as assigned by manager or attorneys

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00 per hour
