Scheduling & Logistics Manager

Job Brief
Stoneleaf Construction, LLC (“Stoneleaf”) is looking for a motivated Scheduling and Logistics Manager. The successful candidate will be well organized, experienced with project scheduling and coordinating material orders and resources. Applicants must be able to work in a fast pace environment with the ability to problem-solve.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with the project team and task managers to define the scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information, and identification of variances from the original plan.
- Develop/update weekly short interval schedule working with the project team.
- Perform detailed review of contractor schedule submittals, including baseline and progress updates.
- Log project timelines and maintain a database of tasks and status.
- Design and develop individual project schedules and create an Integrated Master Schedule.
- Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify problem areas.
- Analyze critical paths and constraints to determine the effect of changes to schedule and recommend a work-around.
- Support project management team to maintain timely and effective change management processes, procedures, and systems.
- Maintaining/ and organizing the project schedule board
- Fulfill material orders and coordinate special orders
- Manage an accurate inventory of warehouse materials
- Schedule and track inbound and outgoing shipments
- Ensure materials are delivered to sites in a timely manner
- Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing, or carriers to meet necessary parameters, specifications, and costs
- Negotiate rates with carriers
- Maintain customer service logs and safety records
- Manage driver operations and schedules
- Work closely with our accounting department to ensure job profitability
Required Skills:

Qualifications:
- Experience with Primavera P6 preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Project preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction related field or 4 years related experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2+ years field logistics experience
- Proficient in MS Office and inventory management software
