Stoneleaf Construction, LLC (“Stoneleaf”) is looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee subcontractor’s field construction of Custom homes and Amenity buildings and support the Director of Vertical Construction and Project Manager(s) to achieve project and company goals.


  • Manage field construction activities of trades
  • Manage materials
  • Oversee subcontractors on multiple $5m projects
  • Office location will be within 1 mile of project location
  • Responsible or assists in all administrative functions such as purchasing materials, procurement of subcontractors for each project
  • Oversee project safety-Ensure that the construction site is clean and safe at all times.
  • Ability to provide and maintain construction schedule for projects;
  • Thorough experience and understanding of the Construction industry with an emphasis on high-end residential construction;
  • Proficiency with blueprint reading, SK’s and mechanical drawings
  • Ability to perform estimates, measuring, and provide material lists
  • Review and coordinate door and window schedules and RO’s
  • Understanding of all construction trades and practices
  • Understanding of construction software(Procore);
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with trades and vendors;
  • Ability to review layout of trades prior to start; including mechanicals;
  • Generating, securing, or otherwise confirming all information needed to create, monitor, and modify the progress schedule on a continuing basis;
  • Scheduling of trades and vendors; Three (3) week minimum look ahead schedule
  • Monitoring actual versus required performance by all parties;
  • Developing the progress schedule with the Scheduler or Project Manager;
  • Participate in scope reviews of the various trades to properly coordinate their respective interfaces and ensure that nothing is left out or bought twice;
  • Working with the Project Manager or Staff to develop and administer the site utilization program, services, security arrangements, and other facilities and arrangements necessary for appropriate service to the construction effort;
  • Identify field-construction and work sequence considerations when working with the Project Manager package purchases;
  • Determining whether Subcontractors are providing sufficient workforce and hours of work to achieve performance commitments;
  • Field Supervision of trades and ensure adherence to project quality goals, including use of quality checklists;
  • Inspect material deliveries for adherence to Purchase Order;
  • Coordinate and schedule Building Inspections; keep a log, obtain inspection reports
  • Coordinate and schedule project Surveyor and/or Engineer as required for testing, as-builts, etc., keep logs, obtain inspection reports
  • Assist Project Managers estimating, scheduling, and completing projects;
  • Identify any Change Orders
  • Assist Project Managers with Change Orders;
  • Provide computer or software generated daily job logs, diaries, narratives, and all other regular documentation as determined together with daily photographs for each project
  • Prepare punch list by trade for projects on an ongoing basis – walkthrough with Architect, Owner and PM’s
  • Complete items on the punch list in a timely fashion
  • Adhere to company operations and safety manuals
  • Use of personal vehicle to get to project sites;
  • Ability to effectively and professionally communicate verbally, and in writing;
  • OSHA 10 Certification(s) (minimum)
    • Other assignments as needed by Stoneleaf Construction LLC
