JVM is seeking a part-time fully remote Business Analyst to join our Business Development team. While this is a part-time role to begin with, there is potential for the position to become full-time in the future for the right candidate. We are looking for a Business Analyst with a background in business and finance to support our government contracts. The Business Analyst will collect and analyze market data, understand cost structures, and monitor pricing trends to drive business growth and inform proposal development.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect and analyze market data and trends
  • Understand and analyze cost structures and pricing models
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability and competitiveness
  • Develop and present reports and recommendations to support proposal development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform business strategies
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • 2-3 years of business analysis experience
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business analysis tools
