About the role
The Director of Clinical Case Management is responsible for leading, overseeing, and directing Spectrum Juvenile Justice Services' clinical case management team. The director ensures that services are delivered with quality and consistency and complies with all applicable licensing, contract, legal, ethical, and accreditation standards.
The Director of Clinical Case Management is responsible for the overall administration of the Spectrum Juvenile Justice Service treatment program. This includes oversight of the clinical case managers who provide therapy and case management for youth ages 11 to 20 years. The Director of Clinical Case Management provides clinical insight, direction, and support, using our “Forward Focus Treatment Model”.
Duties for this role include ensuring the structured implementation of the treatment program, reviewing and approval of all assessment information, including psychological and psychiatric evaluations for all Calumet residents, ensuring that all follow-up activities and recommendations are completed, and providing technical assistance, support, and leadership to the clinical case management staff.

Qualifications:
- Must possess an LMSW
- Five years experience in social service and/or child welfare. Experience in direct treatment services, including residential treatment, casework, group work, and behavior modification process. Experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy preferred.
- Must complete the background screening process.
Our Approach
Spectrum Juvenile Justice Services utilizes the Forward Focused Treatment Model©, the first evidence-based clinical treatment program developed for adolescents with severe offending behaviors. The cognitive-behavioral treatment model is based on current research in adolescent brain development and juvenile justice treatment and includes trauma-focused assessment and treatment. Treatment is guided by a developmentally informed conceptualization of each youth’s risks and needs and utilizes a multimodal and multi-pronged approach.
