Day to day as a Automotive Title Clerk/BillerAs a Title Clerk/Biller at Audi of Colorado Springs, you will play a vital role in our operations by efficiently processing title applications and ensuring accurate data entry. Your attention to detail and understanding of automotive regulations will be key in maintaining compliance and facilitating smooth transactions. Join our team and showcase your expertise in handling automotive titles with precision and efficiency. Your contributions will directly impact our customer-centric services, reflecting our commitment to excellence and integrity in all aspects of our operations. If you are a problem solver with a knack for meticulous data management, this role is the perfect opportunity to excel in a professional and energetic workplace.
Essential duties- Process all new and used vehicle registration in the state in which they will be titled.
- Prepare tax and title documents
- Submits all legal transfer work to the DMV
- Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications
- Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete
- Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins
- Bills out all dealer trades and prepares Certifications of Origin
- Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles
- Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the stats of any missing or problem titles
- Assign titles on all wholesale deals
- Posts vehicles sales and purchases in dealership management system CDK
- Cleans and maintains new and used vehicle inventory schedules
- Processes/registers all vehicle warranties and extended service contracts Secure Products, Gap and all finance products sold.
- Cleans and maintains finance product payable schedules
- Processes registration and plates for service department loaner fleet
- Processes annual renewal of dealer plates
- Stays abreast of title regulations. Attends seminars held by local licensing bureaus and any available training on title regulations
- Cross trains other staff to handle daily responsibilities when not in the office
- Directs title courier in daily routines
- Other duties as assigned
