The Talent Acquisition Generalist is responsible for the talent acquisition needs of the organization and the full life-cycle of recruitment. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that viable candidates are sourced through cutting edge and innovate processes to fill vacant positions in a timely manner. The Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Generalist is a proven expert in all facets of recruitment, job description development, employment law, emerging sourcing techniques and the highest level of customer service to Hiring Managers and Candidates. This position also manages the Position Control with HR Leadership.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associates Degree required
• SHRM, HRCI or other related certification preferred
• Minimum of (3) three years of experience in a full cycle recruitment role, healthcare operations preferred
• Strong proven knowledge of HR and Employment laws, regulations and best practices
• Expert level knowledge of HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems, UKG Preferred
• Excellent computer skills with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Professional communication skills for interaction with all levels of the organization and candidates
• Expert knowledge of emerging sourcing techniques, systems and operations

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Fosters proactive relationship with all Hiring Managers and Candidates
  • Avoids legal challenges by understanding employment laws and regulations
  • Ensures vacant positions are posted accurately and timely with proactive posting language
  • Partners with the Public Relations Department, ensuring that we are utilizing social media to attract applicants
  • Manages the Gulfside Glassdoor and LinkedIn page to engage and attract applicants
  • Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites.
  • Provides organization information, opportunities, and benefits to potential candidates
  • Organizes and Participates in community outreach events such as career events and associations relative to the position
  • Creates and maintains internal job notifications for internal candidates
  • Evaluates applicants and administers pre-screen contact
  • Assists with scheduling interviews
  • Prepares offer letters and provides onboarding information to the Credentialing and Onboarding Specialist to ensure timely onboarding of the new hire
  • Maintains an excellent understanding of the benefits offered by the organization
  • Ensures excellent understanding of the organizational structure and positions within the organization
  • Participates in the success of the goals and objectives of the human resources department
  • Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Expert level knowledge of HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems, UKG Preferred
  • Strong proven knowledge of HR and Employment laws, regulations and best practices
  • Excellent computer skills with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office365 and associated programs.
