What You’ll Do

As a Quality Assurance Continuous Improvement Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing organizational performance by analyzing, maintaining, and improving quality assurance processes. Your expertise in process management and leadership will drive continuous development and ensure excellence in product quality. Here are the key responsibilities and requirements for this role:

You will be responsible for:

  • Conducting inbound and outbound product inspections.
  • Work collaboratively with site leadership to identify initiatives and establish priorities based on business objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system for all aspects of the production facility.
  • Establish and enforce quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Evaluate existing QA processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish norms and standards for company performance.
  • Lead the development and implementation of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plans.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and ensure the teams are empowered to make improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular audits of quality systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver training programs on quality management principles and practices.
  • Utilize data and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of quality and continuous improvement initiatives. Generate regular reports to communicate key performance indicators and progress toward improvement goals.
  • Track, monitor and communicate facility defect trends.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and customers to address quality concerns and ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
    • Proven experience in quality management and continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and leadership skills.
    • Knowledge of quality management systems, SQF preferred, Lean Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders including senior managers, subject matter experts and operators.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
