Position & Compensation Details
Position: NICU RN- Full Time
Start Date: ASAP (Flexible with start dates)
Hours: 36/ wk (3x12)
Shift: 7p-7a
Salary: $32-$53/ hr depending on experience ($60k/ yr-$99k/ yr)
Sign on Bonus: Varies depending on experience
If this role is for you, you would be responsible for:
Providing care for the basic and medical needs of newborn infants in the NICU
Caring and treating newborn infants suffering from illness or prematurity, as well as caring for their parents and guardians
Assisting NICU physicians in procedures and treatments
Quickly and accurately assessing patient care needs
- Diagnosing and developing treatment plans collaboratively with doctors and staff
- Completing paperwork and patient charting.
- Managing multiple cases simultaneously, prioritizing needs continually
- Using strategies and available resources for problem-solving for patients, family and staff
- Delegating tasks and care to appropriate staff and ensuring timely follow-up
- Facilitating learning for patients and families, nursing staff, other members of the health care team and community; integrating appropriate education throughout the continuum of care to help them participate and/or make informed conclusions about their health care and treatments
- Preserving and protecting the confidentiality, autonomy, dignity and rights of patients and family, and representing their concerns.
- Participates in quality/performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Education Required:
1+ year(s) of NICU RN experience required
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
Unencumbered Texas or Compact RN license required
Nicotine Free
BLS required
