Your Role:

As a Residential Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to our high standards. Your role will involve managing on-site activities, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and maintaining effective communication with clients to ensure their expectations are met.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision: Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring projects progress according to plans, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Team Coordination: Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews, ensuring effective communication and adherence to project specifications.
  • Inspection and Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project plans.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or obstacles that arise on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to the project schedule.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients on-site, providing updates and addressing any concerns to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Safety Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols are followed, promoting a safe working environment for all site personnel.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, progress reports, and compliance documentation.

What We Expect:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a superintendent in residential construction.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site teams.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Multi-Tasking: Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards.
  • License: A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different job sites as needed.
