Position Summary:
The Estimator role is critical for the success of a restoration company, as they are responsible for creating estimates in Xactimate & Symbility utilizing the program guidelines and IICRC standards. They must be detailed oriented and understand commercial and insurance restoration industry. Having a basic construction background which includes basic understanding of building materials, flooring and other materials affected by wind, water, fire, smoke and other property damage causes will assist in being successful in this position.
Xactimate & Symbility experience is an essential requirement of this job.
Duties & Responsibilities
Inspect and scope jobs onsite-and work with Project Manager/ Crew Chief/Lead Tech on scope of job
Document loss with clear and descriptive job photos and upload into operating system/software
Write reconstruction estimates using Xactimate/symbility
Communicates conversations and key information on the job
Estimate using carrier audit standards and manages the estimate based on feedback from client and customer
Communicates with project manager/lead tech to ensure all required documentation is complete (photos, notes and documents signed)
Communicate w/ insurance companies, and adjusters via phone and email in a timely manner and acts as a liaison
Review quotes and estimates with the construction project team
Addresses estimate revisions in a timely manner

Applicant must be prepared to:
Move up to 50 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required.
Express or exchange ideas with others and receive and act on detailed information given.
For safety reasons, respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face.
Inside and outside working conditions: The change of environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
