The right candidate will utilize their training and certifications to provide the highest levels of service to all users of SwimRVA facilities. The SwimRVA Professional Rescuer is additionally trained in general facility operations. The SwimRVA Professional Rescuer has a fast career advancement track that offers opportunities in life safety, SwimRVA Safety School faculty positions and facility operations. The SwimRVA Professional Rescuer job duties:

  • Ensure safety of all patrons, guests, and employees throughout the facility
  • Maintain facility cleanliness
  • Perform general facility operations
  • Assist with set up and load out of world class events

Qualifications:

  • A positive attitude and work ethic
  • Candidates must be at least 15 years old
  • Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification preferred or willing to obtain through the SwimRVA Safety School

Salary/ Benefits:
