Thoroughbred Express Auto Wash is seeking a Sales and Promotional Marketing Specialist who is eager to bring innovative marketing strategies to life and contribute to the growth of our dynamic company. With a focus on developing and executing promotional campaigns, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and enhancing our brands visibility. Incumbent will assist in content creation and market research that improves our brand, communications, strategy, and sales.

  1. Coordinates periodic sales programs and promotions based on merchandising trends.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to engage the community in the organizations mission.
  3. Establish relationships with community stakeholders and partners.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with the community, institutions, and organizations.
  5. Engage in varying outreach activities and educating the community.
  6. Compiles materials and coordinates activities related to special events such as holidays, new
  7. store openings, trade shows, or anticipated product release.
  8. Coordinates activities in various departments to ensure advertising and sales programs reach
  9. targeted customers in a timely and effective manner.
  10. Develops and maintains files related to sales programs, weekly ads, and marketing and special
  11. event communications: ensures they are available for future reference.
  12. Confers with vendors and brokers regarding the customer response to promotional programs and general market conditions.
  13. Oversees printing and production of advertising and sales materials.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  1. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  2. Must be willing to work on a computer for long periods of time.
  3. Ability to travel 75% of the time.
  4. Prior collaboration or project management experience.
  5. Aptitude in seeking creative solutions to multifaceted challenges.
  6. Ability to compile, analyze, and communicate data.
  7. Knowledge of marketing principles and industry trends.
  8. High school degree required, bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent preferred.
  9. Relevant Coursework: Coursework related to marketing, such as marketing principles, consumer behavior, advertising, digital marketing, market research, and communication strategies, preferred.
