  • Controls access to North End Teleservices facility through the admittance process.
  • Write or review security-related documents, such as incident reports, proposals, and tactical or strategic initiatives.
  • Train other organization members in security rules and procedures.
  • Plan security for special and high-risk events.
  • Coordinate security operations or activities with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies.
  • Attend meetings, professional seminars, or conferences to keep abreast of changes in directives or new technologies impacting security operations.
  • Assist in emergency, crisis, and disaster management and contingency planning.
  • Arrange for or perform executive protection activities.
  • Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following emergency response procedures.
  • Prepare reports or make presentations on internal investigations, losses, or violations of regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify, investigate, or resolve security breaches.
  • Monitor security policies, programs, or procedures to ensure compliance with internal security policies, licensing requirements, or applicable government security requirements, policies, and directives.
  • Conduct, support, or assist in governmental reviews, internal corporate evaluations, or assessments of the overall effectiveness of the facility's security processes.
  • Conduct physical examinations of property to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Communicate security status, updates, and actual or potential problems, using established protocols.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property.
  • Light day porter services including but not limited to checking the bathrooms, breakrooms and restocking supplies as needed, cleaning security office and administrative entrance windows.
  • Preparing large batches of mail for distribution.
  • Distributing mail to various carriers.
  • Operating copy machine and other office equipment.
  • Keeping work areas clean and neat.
  • Making occasional deliveries.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of security procedures and techniques
  • Experienced in executing duties for unarmed security services
  • Familiarity with law enforcement policies and building access control system
  • Skilled in preparing detailed reports on incidences
  • The ability to manage your own workload.
  • The ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • The ability to solve problems.
  • The ability to communicate well
  • Ability to work on his/her feet for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Strong coaching ability.
  • Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills sufficient to communicate and interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Good organization skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent command of the English language, good use of grammar skills.
Experience
  • High school diploma
  • General education diploma, some college desirable
