Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Corporate Development Manager to lead our corporate strategy and growth efforts. This full-time position will report directly to the [Chief Executive Officer/Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer] and will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic opportunities that align with our business objectives. The Corporate Development Manager will drive M&A activities, strategic partnerships, and other initiatives aimed at enhancing our competitive position and maximizing value creation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:

    • Develop and execute the company's corporate development strategy in alignment with overall business goals and objectives.
    • Identify and prioritize strategic growth opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and strategic investments.
    • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to assess market trends, competitive dynamics, and potential acquisition targets or partners.
  • M&A and Transaction Execution:

    • Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including target identification, due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation, and integration planning.
    • Collaborate with legal, finance, and other internal teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Develop financial models, business cases, and presentations to support investment decisions and communicate recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Partnership Development:

    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential strategic partners, investors, and industry stakeholders to explore collaboration opportunities and expand market reach.
    • Negotiate partnership agreements and alliance structures that create mutual value and support long-term growth objectives.
    • Manage ongoing partner relationships and drive initiatives to maximize partnership value and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis:

    • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis to inform strategic decision-making and business planning.
    • Benchmark performance against industry peers and identify areas for competitive advantage and differentiation.
  • Project Management and Leadership:

    • Lead cross-functional teams and project manage initiatives related to corporate development and strategic growth.
    • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategic initiatives.
    • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence within the corporate development function.

Compensation:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong financial acumen and proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analysis of investment opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior executives and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of business strategy, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving growth and creating value through strategic initiatives.
