WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Organize and assist project engineers and managers in ways that allow them to focus on their customer rather than paperwork
  • Sort and distribute internal and external project communications and directives in a timely manner
  • Receive, process and file internal and external communications in a manner that is straight forward and easy for the project engineer to review or reference previous versions
  • Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
  • Retrieve, print and file documentation related to specific projects using BendTec’s internal system as well as our customer’s proprietary systems
  • Resolve malfunctions of office equipment and respond to requests or issues
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
  • Monitor quality and production systems by helping complete internal audits. Duties are split with several other personnel. Must be completed by the required dates
  • Monitor completed jobs and job data to ensure filing and storage of all pertinent documentation takes place
  • Process data packages for long term storage and help maintain long term storage of said files
  • Help perform quality assurance verification and releases due to personnel on vacation
  • Design and maintain filing and storage systems in the office
  • Retrieve documents and files when requested
  • Assist engineering with sorting and collating documentation related to materials, purchasing and engineering
  • Read and route incoming e-mail and process outgoing e-mail

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience: None specifically required
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of office equipment
  • Certifications & Licenses: None specifically required
  • Other Requirements:
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
