Welcome to Volunteer Behavioral Health, where your passion for supporting students' emotional well-being can flourish. We're seeking a dedicated individual to join us as a full-time Student Counselor. This role offers an annual salary of $42,000/year, plus a range of benefits including:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences (social work, counseling, or psychology)
  • Flexibility and adaptability to school policies and schedules
  • Ability to work remotely and onsite as needed
  • License or actively working on license/certification

Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required. Your full-time schedule mirrors that of the school week, providing you with the same daily routine as parents with kids in school. You'll enjoy summers and holidays off


WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Student Counselor, your days will revolve around providing individual and group counseling sessions to address various emotional and behavioral challenges among students. Collaborating closely with school staff and families, you'll develop effective intervention plans and offer crisis intervention when needed. Your commitment to maintaining accurate client records and flexibility to work remotely when necessary will ensure seamless support for students
