Kitchen Tune-Up is growing at an exciting pace Our 5 Core Services include our exclusive 1 Day Wood Restoration Tune-Up, Cabinet Refacing, Redooring, Cabinet Painting, and Custom Cabinets.

We are seeking dedicated team members to complete kitchen remodeling projects in homes across our community. At Kitchen Tune-Up Dana Point Irvine, we are seeking a career minded Cabinet Installer/Technician who is willing to learn new techniques and is looking for a stable, well-paying career. This position will support our community in Dana Point, Irvine, Ladera Ranch, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Laguna Niguel, Trabuco Canyon, and Silverado Ranch.

This is a hands-on position, including the ability to safely operate power hand tools. Training is provided for the completion of cabinet redooring, refacing, and kitchen remodeling projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Follow Trustpoints (referenced above) on every project and job site
  • Keep work area clean and orderly and clean up daily
  • Communicate with project manager daily about progress
  • Work quickly, safely and efficiently
  • Escalate customer and/or client issues when appropriate
  • Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience required
  • Experience in construction or general labor preferred
  • Skilled in both verbal and written communication
  • Ability to use a smartphone to access addresses, instructions, and complete checklists
  • Can prioritize and organize your day efficiently and effectively
  • Is a self-starter and a quick learner
  • Has excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Must be able to:
  • drill for hinges
  • install doors and drawer fronts
  • install roll-out trays in cabinets
  • safely operate power hand tools including a table saw, band saw, power hand saw, router, planer, and powered nail gun
  • Preferred experience includes cabinet/cabinet door painting and/or cabinet refacing

Compensation: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience
