The Licensed Therapist is responsible for maintaining an outpatient psychotherapy caseload while assisting in designing and implementing a day treatment program focusing on stabilizing and improving mental health while assisting individuals to cope with obstacles experienced in everyday life. 

 

Specific duties include the following:

  1. Performs assessment and identifies treatment needs of consumers served.
  2. Develops and monitors a treatment plan for each consumer based on mutually identified needs.
  3. Provides ongoing individual and group therapy to address treatment needs of each consumer served.
  4. Provides information and referrals to resources and other community professionals as needed.
  5. Documents assessments, individual and group therapy sessions, and discharge sessions in the electronic health record.
  6. Serves as part of a team to develop and implement a day treatment program for individuals having a wide variety of mental health issues.

Professional and Technical Knowledge Required: 

  • Must be licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in the State of Wisconsin
  • 1-2 years of experience providing individual/group therapy to individuals with mental health issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and psychosis.
  • Skilled in the use of evidenced based and trauma informed therapies.
  • Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problems solving expertise but also work as a member of a team.
  • Must be comfortable in the use of an electronic health record and Microsoft 365.

 

Job Type:

Full time: (32-40 hours a week)

Shift: (8:30 A.M.-4:30 P.M., Monday-Friday; no evening/weekend or on-call)

Work Setting: (clinic/remote)

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
