Radiation Therapist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Froedtert Hospital. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for providing radiation therapy simulation and treatments to cancer patients in Radiation Oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document required radiation oncology simulation and treatment information in hospital and Radiation EMR.
  • Explain treatment procedures to patients and answer their questions in a clear and concise manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education and Licensure:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree from an ARRT Certified Radiation Therapy program or 5 years of previous Radiation Therapist experience.
  • Certified as a RT (T) Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of hire.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.
