Warehouse Associate

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt

Job Summary:

Our company is looking to hire a hardworking, reliable and flexible warehouse associate to join our fast-paced, growing environment. The position requires you to perform various duties such as pulling orders, counting inventory, sorting, loading, retrieving stock to fill orders and transport items for shipping and packing.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Receives order pick list and plans staging and pulling of items from warehouse inventory.
  • Re-stack and organize material for order on pallet per general operating best practices.
  • Utilize barcode scanner or other electronic device to stage and print label for each pallet staged.
  • Follow two-step verification procedures for all staged pallets before storing pallets in staging bay and proceeding to next staged pallet.
  • Load and verify pallets on outbound trucks per scheduled truck dispatch list as determined by Outbound Shipping Team lead.
  • Receive all inbound purchased inventory from vendors that are shipped to location.
  • Receive finished goods from production environment upon completion and input to ERP system.
  • Allocate and distribute raw materials and component inventory to production environment for assembly into finished goods
  • Process cycle count reports and on-demand counting of physical inventory located on-site.
  • Identify, communicate, and problem solve inventory variances and items for purchase when identified through inventory counting, order staging, or other assigned verification tasks.
  • Follow safety rules and procedures
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including pallet jacks and electric pallet jacks when needed.
  • Strong ability to organize, plan, and work independently in a warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

`Physical Requirements:

  • Must be in good physical condition and have good motor skills.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination.
  • Must be able to work in hot and cold weather conditions.

Salary: $14.00 - $17.00per hour

All shifts in our Warehouse Department are currently 10 hours long with Overtime paid after 40 hours worked. Team members will rotate assigned Saturday shifts as coordinated by the Warehouse Manager.
