Responsibilities:

  • Design new builds, renovations, pools, and other projects using materials such as wood, steel, concrete, and masonry
  • Complete site inspections for residential and commercial clients
  • Provide estimates on pricing to complete projects
  • Make calculations regarding pressures, loads, and stresses
  • Provide clients and other relevant contacts with technical advice on safe designs and construction
  • Coordinate closely with project partners such as architects and builders throughout the project life cycle
  • Inspect properties to evaluate conditions and foundations prior to creating estimates or designs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) credential.
  • Experience in both commercial and residential construction projects, demonstrating proficiency in structural analysis and design.
  • Experience with pool/aquatic design preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
