SUMMARY:

The Asset Based Lending Administration Specialist will be responsible for the timely processing of all incoming collateral documents, assist in the loan closing documentation and process in accordance with the approved policies & procedures within the ABL group. The ABL Administration Specialist will work closely with the RVP and Portfolio Manager to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Will also assist in preparation and distribution of department and portfolio reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

Document Management:

  • Manages and maintains the monthly tickler report. Works with customers and lending staff to ensure the timely collection of monthly borrowing base certificates, accounts receivable, inventory, and accounts payable reports as well as other tickler items.
  • Completes month-end collateral monitoring reports and trend reports.
  • Follows up with borrowers for any document deficiencies.
  • Ensures all processing timelines are met and maintains active communication with RVP and PM.
  • Assigns all required field examinations with the firms performing the exam.
  • Creates and maintains credit files and post-closing checklists.
  • Works with outside legal counsel and loan documentation for complex and large loans not processed through the Bank’s legal documents.

Post-Closing:

  • Inputs all closed loans into the Bank’s DNA system and verifies entries for accuracy.
  • Inputs supporting loan file documentation into the Bank’s document imaging system and prepares closing file for post-closing review.
  • Supports all post-closing related activities such as receipt of all required recorded documentation, policies, and completion of collateral files.

Pipeline Management:

  • Manages the ABL closing pipeline, as directed.
  • Moves new customers through the onboarding process.
  • Ensures transactions (draws and advances) are efficiently processed in a timely manner.

DFL Borrowing Base Monitoring and Onboarding:

  • Transitions existing Borrowing Base customers to the ABL Monitoring Platform, as needed.
  • Develops reporting requirements for Borrowing Base submission compliance.
  • Onboards new customers to the ABL Monitoring Platform.

Loan Review Support:

  • Assists with internal and external bank examinations and audits as requested.

Other Responsibilities

  • Performs other job-related duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in ABL servicing, documentation & closing;
  • Experience with commercial credit structure, pricing, and procedures;
  • Working knowledge of borrowing base reporting, AR Aging & AP Aging documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel;
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Organizational skills;
  • Ability to work independently, once trained, to complete work on a timely basis;
  • Effective communication skills;
  • Experience with ABL Monitoring Platforms, a plus
