We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Operations to join our leadership team and oversee the efficient and strategic execution of our company’s operations, including both construction and maintenance divisions.


Overview: as the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing the daily operations of Quiet Village Landscaping, ensuring that both design/build construction and maintenance services are delivered at the highest standards. You will drive operational strategy, oversee resource management, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation. Your expertise will be essential in advancing our company’s growth objectives, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.


Skill Set & Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred
  • Extensive experience in operational leadership roles within the landscaping, construction, or related industries
  • Proven track record of managing large teams, budgets, and multi-phase projects
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Proficiency in operational management software, Google Workspace Suite, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of landscaping design/build construction and maintenance operations is an advantage
  • Previous experience using Aspire software is a plus


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies that support company goals for efficiency, growth, and profitability.
  • Oversee all operations, including construction and maintenance projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and client expectations.
  • Lead and mentor operations teams, including project managers, supervisors, and field crews, to ensure cohesive and high-performance execution.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects, including meeting deadlines, maintaining budgets, and upholding quality standards.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads, including the Sales and Design teams, to align operational capabilities with business development.
  • Manage resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Serve as a key contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
  • Oversee compliance with safety regulations, fostering a culture of safety across all operations.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive cost control initiatives, identifying opportunities for operational efficiencies and profitability.
  • Lead company-wide initiatives to improve environmental sustainability and eco-friendly practices.
  • Report regularly to executive leadership on operational performance, project status, financial metrics, and strategic initiatives.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by executive leadership.
