We are looking for a Payroll Clerk Our client in Houston, Texas is seeking a Payroll Clerk on a contract basis.


Job Responsibilities:

· Use payroll software, input payroll data, prepare payroll, and assist with the implementation and maintenance of payroll software changes.

· Update payroll records and process routine changes to employee records.

· Perform basic reconciliation and auditing processes during each pay cycle.

· Research and resolve errors or omissions and respond to pay-related inquiries.

· May prepare and submit reports and forms required to meet government compliance.

· Maintain accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions, ensuring confidentiality, and exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information.

· Assist with creating and generating reports.

· Provide an accurate audit trail for all payroll entries and provide assistance pertaining to year-end requirements.


Job Requirements:

· Two years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll processing.

· Payroll software experience.

· Experience as a Payroll Clerk.
