Talent Acquisition and HR Operations Manager

The Talent Acquisition and HR Operations Manager reporting to the Chief People Officer (CPO) will assist with the maintenance of people solutions and data in order to support the organization's strategy and growth objectives. They will drive talent acquisition initiatives to attract, develop, and retain the best talent and design and implement effective onboarding to ensure the successful integration and engagement of new hires. They support the CPO by overseeing HR operations, including HRIS, and other HR systems.
Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition and Retention:
- Drive talent acquisition initiatives to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the biotech industry.
- Develop strategies to enhance employer branding and promote the organization as an employer of choice in the biotech industry.
- Design and implement effective onboarding and retention programs to ensure the successful integration and engagement of new hires.
- Make recommendations to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in organizational structure.
- HR Operations and Systems:
- Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, HRIS, and other HR systems.
- Implement and optimize HR technology solutions to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with CPO and senior leaders to drive organizational change and support the company's strategy.
- Works on ad hoc projects as needed.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for employees, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
- Employee Engagement and Culture:
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and
- Support CPO with developing and executing initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, motivation, and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience (7+ years) in talent acquisition/HR
- Biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience
- Understanding of HR best practices, talent management, organizational development, and employee relations.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving
- Maintains a high level of discretion and
- Works with a sense of urgency, are results-driven, and thrive in a fast- paced, interdisciplinary, and entrepreneurial environment that is constantly evolving.
The function of the role and where the day-to-day completion of the related tasks take place is flexible. The employee will be able to function throughout the office environment. Responsibilities include a work schedule that can require working outside of "normal" work hours, to meet business demands.
