We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Knowledge Managemer with an active Secret Clearance to develop and implement a comprehensive Knowledge Management (KM) strategy within SharePoint environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SharePoint versions 2013, 2016, and 2019, and will be responsible for the continuous enhancement of the organization's KM systems by integrating new methodologies, best practices, and technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement KM Strategy: Identify the knowledge management needs of the organization, develop a data management plan, present the plan to organizational leadership, and create a user-friendly environment within SharePoint for accessing information.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide ongoing analysis and improvement of the KM system, implementing newer methodologies, best practices, and the latest technology to enhance organizational knowledge sharing and management.
- SharePoint Management: Utilize extensive experience with SharePoint 2013, 2016, and 2019 to manage, maintain, and improve the KM environment.
- Customer Support: Provide Level I customer support to users, ensuring they have the resources and assistance needed to effectively use the KM systems.
- Data Management: Implement Level II data management practices, ensuring that information is accurately stored, organized, and easily retrievable.
- Technical Writing: Produce clear and concise documentation to support the KM system, including user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
- Web Development: Apply web development skills to enhance the SharePoint environment, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly interface.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or a closely related field.
- OR Master’s degree with five (5) years of relevant experience, including one (1) year of specialized experience.
- OR Ten (10) years of relevant experience, with at least eight (8) years of specialized experience (degree not required).
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft SharePoint 2013: 2 years of practical experience.
- Microsoft SharePoint 2016: 2 years of practical experience.
- Microsoft SharePoint 2019: 2 years of practical experience.
- Customer Support: 3 years of practical experience.
- Data Management: 2 years of practical experience.
- Technical Writing: 2 years of practical experience.
- Web Development: 2 years of practical experience.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required for this position.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to assess and improve KM systems continually.
- Leadership Abilities: Experience presenting KM strategies to leadership and guiding the organization in implementing best practices.
