This position is responsible for the daily activities related to the placement and distribution of ocular tissues

Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank is based out of Sacramento, California and is a member of the DCI Donor Services family. Employees are located in California, Tennessee, and Nevada.

For over four decades, DCI Donor Services has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.

DCI Donor Services operates three organ procurement/tissue recovery organizations: New Mexico Donor Services, Sierra Donor Services, and Tennessee Donor Services. We also maximize the gift of life through the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Tennessee Donor Services Eye Bank.

Key responsibilities this position will perform include:

  • Maintain and fulfill the ocular surgery schedule, placement, distribution, and shipping
  • Prioritize placement of corneas
  • Maintain recipient post-operative follow-up information
  • Coordinate distribution of research tissue to investigators
  • Assist with sales and performance data accrual and analysis


The ideal candidate will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a client services capacity or 1 year of experience in eye banking
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs
