Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHoxton Circle is partnering with a prominent and established manufacturing and CPG in search of a dynamic and results-driven Cost Accounting Manager. The position can be based in Westchester, PA or Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas and will report directly to the Controller 3 days a week in office.

The Manager is responsible for overseeing the cost accounting functions within the organization. This role includes leading two staff accountants and working closely with Plant Controllers to ensure effective teamwork and collaboration. The manager will also communicate cost accounting matters clearly to auditors.

Responsibilities include managing inventory costing and revaluation, variance capitalization accounting, and reconciling all inventory accounts. The manager will also collaborate with Procurement and Accounts Payable (AP) to analyze and report Purchase Price Variance (PPV), and account for freight, duty, and tariff costs.

The ideal candidate:

  • 8+ years of cost accounting experience
  • Accounting or Finance degree
  • Manufacturing experience
  • QAD ERP experience preferred
  • CPA (preferred)
