Position Title: Interior Mechanic
Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Contract Type: Full Time – 12 Months (Leading to Permanent Position)


Job Overview: Ensure all maintenance actions, including documentation, are carried out in accordance with approved data in an airworthy manner. Additionally, responsible for preliminary, routine and in-process inspections on aircraft and/or components to determine serviceability and airworthiness.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensures all tasks are promptly completed in compliance with federal regulations, customer guidelines and company policies.
  • Reviews required customer and FAA paperwork to ensure proper maintenance updates and compliance with applicable regulations and customer requirements.
  • Leads the maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alteration of, or approve and return to service, any aircraft, or part thereof, only for which that Lead is rated and has satisfactorily performed the work concerned at an earlier date.
  • Performs maintenance tasks as required and becomes an active member of the crew.
  • Conducts crew meetings to ensure communication regarding work, safety, and quality.
  • Uses technical data to order parts and ensure material is effective for aircraft being installed on. Ensures all parts for specialty area are ordered in a timely manner.
  • Ensures Engineering is submitted in timely manner as needed.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ recent commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO experience preferred on 737/Airbus.
  • Applicable Repairman, Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
