What will I be doing?
- Providing therapy in a school-based setting to youths and adolescents throughout the East Tampa, FL area. Specifically throughout the school of Tampa Bay Tech.
- Candidate will be required to provide direct care services, complete psychotherapy notes, conduct assessments, complete treatment plans, and provide individual and family therapy.
Am I a good fit?
- Successful candidate will exude a passion for serving vulnerable individuals and families
- Ability to manage time well and collaborate with a team to accomplish goals
- Able to work out in the community in multiple locations
- Must be willing to complete 15 - 25 client billable service hours.
- This is a part-time to full-time transition position.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, and/or Psychology from an accredited University
- Registered Intern or Eligible to become one in the state of Florida
- At least 1 year of full-time documented mental health experience or volunteer work post-human services degree
- Child Mental Health - 1 year (preferred)
- Access to reliable transportation adhering to all FL Division of Motor Vehicle laws (current vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and driver’s license)
Additional Benefits:
