VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in Correctional Health Care has a opening for a Full Time Mid Shift Psychiatric Technician at Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown, DE.

For second shift (4p to 12a) and three third shift (12a to 8a). Additional $1 per hour from 4-11p, $2 12a-8a.

PSYCHIATRIC TECHNICIAN POSITION SUMMARY

The Psychiatric Technician will provide continuous visual monitoring of patients who have been assessed to be at risk for self-directed violence (otherwise known as Psychiatric Close Observation).


PSYCHIATRIC TECHNICIAN MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma (preference for an associate degree in human services, or working towards a degree in human services)
  • Mental or Behavioral Health experience is preferred
